Sunshine Castle Bli Bli
The Sunshine Castle is a medieval museum and tourist attraction located at Bli Bli. The Sunshine Coast attraction promotes history, encourages education and hosts unique celebrations.
The Norman style castle was built in 1972, and it’s been a Sunshine Coast Cultural Tourism icon for 45 years. It features medieval additions, complete with moat, turrets, towers and drawbridge.
The Sunshine Castle is filled with medieval and historical displays. More than this, you can find other cultural exhibitions as well as remnants of the original dolls and fairytales that were the reason for the Castle to be built in the first place.
For children they can get interactive with educational treasure hunts, get a free treat from the King’s treasure chest or get dressed up in themed head gear.

You are able to explore at your own pace on a self walk. Wander over the drawbridge into medieval times, feast with Kings in the Great Hall or squalor in shame in the dungeon. Scale the 24 metre lookout tower that offers stunning views from Coast to Hinterland.
Opening Hours: 9.30am to 4.30pm Tuesday to Sunday. Open 7 days a week in School Holidays.
