Sunshine Coast National Over 70s Cricket Championships

Conducted by Veterans Cricket Australia, the National Over 70's Cricket Championships is happening this year on the Sunshine Coast from 12 to 18 September.

The championship cricket event will feature approximately 20 teams of veteran or over 70's cricketers from all over Australia. The event will get underway with a welcome ceremony to be held at the Mooloolaba Bowls Club on September 12, followed by two days of cricket on September 13 and 14.

After two rest days on September 15 and 16, there will be two more days of cricket on September 17 and 18 and a closing barbecue and ceremony on September 18.

The matches will be played at various grade Cricket facilities at Noosa, Yandina, Maroochydore, Caloundra and Landsborough, so make sure you get along to watch some of the cricketers in action.
